Water
- The City has five municipal wells and two one-million gallon water towers
- The pumping capacity of the wells ranges from 800-1,200 gallons per minute. The average use per day is 2-2.5 million gallons of water.
- The City's water meets federal and state standards for safe drinking water. Fluoride is added, sodium silicate is added for iron and manganese control, and chlorine is used for disinfections.

Wastewater
- Class A Wastewater Treatment Facilities
- Primary treatment consisting of bar screens, fine screens, flow equalization, grit removal, and primary settling
- Secondary treatment consisting of trickling filters, aeration, settling tanks, and thickening of sludge
- Advanced treatment consists of nitrification, phosphorous removal, disinfections, dechlorination, and effluent pumping and re-aeration
- Solids processing consists of anaerobic digestion and land application of bio-solids
