2008 Projects

• Melrose Area Hospital & CentraCare Clinic Melrose is expanding their facilities in Fall of 2008 to include the possible hosting of the Melrose pharmacy, dental clinic, eye clinic, expanded parking facilities, a helicopter pad, & other improvements.  
• Townhomes are expected to be built in the Fall of 2008.
• Fire & Ambulance Station Spring of 2008 with completion late Fall 2008.
• Proliant Dairy Proteins Spring 2008.  Open House late Fall 2008.
• Seal Coats Finished by September 2008.

2007 Projects

• Central Minnesota Federal Credit Union has completed their expansion in downtown Melrose to include new offices, parking, drive-thru, etc.
• Genex Corporation has joined the City of Melrose and has their new building completed in the Melrose Industrial Park.
• Road Seal Coats have been completed for 2007.

2006 Projects

Housing

• EBM Properties: development is located west of the City on Railroad Avenue.  Developer waiting to start project in late Fall of 2006 or Spring of 2007. 
• Tri Quality: development is located northwest of the City and it is a smaller development. Construction has started. Final completion in 2007. 

Road Construction

• Kraft Drive Extension has been completed and is open to traffic.
• Sealcoats are also planned for specific roads for 2006.

2005 Projects

Housing

Daylight Court Housing Development:

• Daylight Court is a 22 lot housing project 
• Located east of the Melrose Area High School  
• The expected completion date is Spring of 2006 
• Asphalt and decorative lighting to be installed in Spring of 2006     

Road Construction

• Sealcoat projects were completed in 2005 for Eighth Avenue West, Railroad Avenue, and Third Avenue West.

Industrial

I-94 Industrial Park: The I-94 Industrial Park is a 3,338,438 sq. ft., 15 lot, Commercial development project

• Phase I has been completed
• Phase II will begin once lots on Phase I have been sold.  The first building that was built is a commercial trucking company.  The second building is Genex Corporation, which is a dairy equipment wholeseller & dairy cattle breeder.
