The Melrose Area Public School District #740 continues to see a growing student population in its Pre-K through 12 enrollments. The school district offers a very comprehensive curriculum which translates into a competitive program when compared to other school districts.
A strong extra curricular program of fine arts and athletic activities are in place. A high percentange of the student population participates in these offerings.
The Pre-K through 12 program is housed at one campus. The District residents have supported the move to one campus which provides a very nice atmosphere for the students and faculty.
The Melrose High School also offers “College in the School” credits.

Community education provides enriching learning activities, enables leading citizen involvement, and encourages the linking of community and school resources. It offers a variety of life-long learning activities.
Early Childhood Family Education 320-256-4254
Early childhood Family Education and Learning Readiness programs are for children from ages birth to six years old. These classes offer learning and social opportunities for preschool children and their parents.
