The City of Melrose, which currently accepts payments in person at the City Center, the drop box located on the south exterior part of the City Center (next to the Library drop box) or ACH, is now also accepting payments via electronic format, automated phone system (1-800-272-9829; jurisdiction code 3354), and/or customer service call center from 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. (1-800-487-4567). City Payments include Ambulance payments, Building Permit fees, Licensing, Parks fees, Police Department fees and fines, misc. fees. The fee for City payments is 2.5% with a minimum charge of $1.00 for payments below $40.00. The following debit or credit cards will be accepted (MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). Electronic checks are also accepted with fees of $5.00 per transaction. Official Payments website City payments.
