The City of Melrose welcomes you to our strong, diverse and connected community. If you are looking for a place to call home, work or play, you have found it here in Melrose. Melrose is conveniently located right off Interstate 94 midway between St.Cloud and Alexandria. We are just a little more than an hour from the Twin Cities. We are a progressive, growing community that has seen over $200 million invested in the last 10 years in construction activities from residential to industrial. We have wonderful business opportunities from healthcare to manufacturing. We offer retail, groceries, financial services, restaurants and many conveniences for those traveling or looking to make Melrose their home. We were the first community in the State of Minnesota to bring fiber to the home and have wide variety of broadband offerings for businesses, families and telecommuting. Our future looks bright with new multifamily housing projects schedule for construction and more housing options in the coming years. We have top-notch school district offering strong academic program's and multiple state championship honors from sports to speech. Our municipal recreational facilities include two large parks, ice rink and warming house, multiple ball diamonds, public pavilion, pickle ball court, snowmobile trails, camping along the Sauk River Park and fishing pier. We also have over 7 miles of walking/biking trails within the City and direct connections to the Lake Wobegon Trail.

We could go on and on about this great community, but the best way to learn about us is to come and stay awhile. We hope to see you soon.
