The Parks and Recreation Board consists of five members appointed annually by the Mayor with Council approval. Two members of the Board shall be members of the Melrose Area Development Authority (MADA), two members shall be members of the Planning and Zoning Commission, and one member of the Board shall be a member of the City Council. The Board shall have staggered three-year terms - one member appointed for one year, two members are appointed for two years, and two members are appointed for three years. All successor appointments shall be for three-year terms. The Chair, Vice Chair and Secretary are appointed by the Board annually.

The Board meets at 6:00 p.m. as scheduled.
