The City's area for tree and brush drop off on County Road 173 and Riverview Road is now closed.

For the safety of the residents and city staff the tree brush site will be closing at 8 pm tonight and reopening at 8 am tomorrow morning.

The city is opening an area for branches on County Road 173 and Riverview Road. The bluffs area. No stumps or debris allowed. THERE IS NO DUMPING IN THE INDUSTRIAL PARK.
Park View Place Assisted Living is having an Open House on Wednesday, July 17th from 4pm-7pm.

There is a section of Main Street that is closed for construction. For the safety of yourself and the workers, DO NOT DRIVE IN THE CONSTRUCTION AREA. Please follow the DETOUR signs. Your cooperation is appreciated.

The City Center will be closed, July 4th, 2024.

There are lots of big projects happening around the city. Here is a shout out to the quiet ones.
Our Electric and Streets/Parks Departments have been busy installing streetlights, planting trees, maintaining trails, and honoring holidays.

Melrose City Center will be closed Wednesday, June 19th 2024 for Juneteenth. Thank you!

The 4-way stop by NAPA and Melrose Dental will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday this week (June 11th and 12th) as crews grade the intersection and re-pave it. We want to restore this intersection to ease travel. Thank you for your patience as we work through the Main Street project.

The cement is drying, but construction is complete on this amazing addition to our Sauk River Park. A huge thank you to the Melrose Lions for their contribution of this new playground. They donated the equipment and their members worked with the city staff on the installation over the last few days.

This week the Farmers Market kicks off on Wednesday, June 5th, 2024 from 3 PM to 6 PM.
We welcome people to the new location in the Sauk River Park!
Join city staff for tours of the campground, renovated restrooms (with showers), basketball court, and kayak launch.

What a beautiful start to the weekend!

Thursday, May 23rd the 4-way stop on Main Street by NAPA and Melrose Dental will be closed for the installation of the storm sewer for the project (weather permitting).
It is planned to be a one (1) day closure, opening at the end of the day. This is the final planned closure of this intersection during the project.
