You have the power to make a big difference! When summer temps rise,
so does electric demand. You can help keep costs down for everyone.
Try turning up your thermostat a few degrees, closing blinds during the
day, switching off unused lights and waiting to run appliances until later
in the evening.

Hot weather can be dangerous in the summer. Protect yourself by knowing
the signs of heat exhaustion: dizziness, headaches, nausea, excessive
sweating or rapid heartbeat. #BeatTheHeat and stay safe by drinking a lot
of water, staying indoors and calling 911 if you see someone suffering from
heat exhaustion.

Summer fun means cooling off in the water. But remember, electricity and water never mix! Keep all electrical devices at least 10 feet away from pools, lakes or any water source and never bring them into the water. If you’ve been swimming, make sure you’re completely dry before handling any electronics to avoid the risk of electric shock. #SafetyTips
