Open House – Main Street Project
A full reconstruction of Main Street from Second Avenue NE/SE (NAPA Auto Parts) to Fifth Avenue NW/SW (CentraCare-Melrose Hospital), along with re-surfacing to Eighth Avenue NW (Carstens Industries) is scheduled to begin this summer and take an estimated four months.
City staff and the city engineer will host an open house to discuss the road project on Monday, January 22 from 5 to 7 PM at Melrose City Center.
During the project, Stearns County and the City of Melrose will be working on the replacement of sewer, water and storm water infrastructure, and resurfacing.
The open house will be an opportunity to discuss the project with staff and ask questions. If you are unable to attend, please contact city offices with questions: (320) 256-4278.
Translation will be available for Spanish speaking residents.
The area in red will be a full reconstruction and will be closed during the project.
The area in orange will be re-surfacing only and will only be affected at the end of the project.
