Stearns County area motorists are advised there will be five culverts replaced on four various County roads starting on Monday, September 9th thru Friday September 20th. The contractor will start on County Road 134 (Ridgewood Road) just north of County Road 75 and on County Road 168 just north of Thunder Road. The third and fourth culverts to be replaced are on County Road 26 just north of County Road 18. The fifth culvert to be replaced will take place on County Road 163 just south of County Road 49. Motorists are strongly urged to find alternate routes to minimize delays. Dates and timeframes are weather dependent. See attached detour routes for these four County roads. Local area motorists are advised to use caution while traveling through the work zone and expect delays. Questions or concerns may be directed to the Stearns County Highway Department.

The 4-way stop by NAPA and Melrose Dental will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday this week (June 11th and 12th) as crews grade the intersection and re-pave it. We want to restore this intersection to ease travel. Thank you for your patience as we work through the Main Street project.

The cement is drying, but construction is complete on this amazing addition to our Sauk River Park. A huge thank you to the Melrose Lions for their contribution of this new playground. They donated the equipment and their members worked with the city staff on the installation over the last few days.
